    HGJ associate, Milad Momeni, was elected in December 2023 as President of the National Lawyers Guild’s (NLG) NYC Chapter. Milad, a longtime member of the NLG, previously served as the Treasurer of the NLG NYC Chapter. He hopes to continue the NLG’s strong tradition of movement lawyering, dedication to the need for basic change in the structure of our housing and homelessness system, and fighting for tenants’ rights, both in NYC and on a national level. The firm looks forward to supporting Milad as he takes on this new leadership role.
