Caitríona Fox is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz (Sociology, French, 2016) and completed a dual degree to obtain her J.D. and Masters in International Affairs through CUNY School of Law and CCNY. She is admitted to the bar in New York. Prior to attending law school, Caitríona spent four years as legal assistant seeking federal compensation through the VCF Claims process for survivors and families of the 2001 WTC attacks.
At CUNY Law, Caitríona was a Director of the Irish Law Students Association, and a Public Interest Law Association Grant Recipient. Since graduation and admission to the New York Bar, Caitríona has dedicated her legal career to housing rights within New York City, working at CAMBA Legal Services for several years in public tenant defense prior to joining Himmelstein Gribben & Joseph LLP.
Caitríona currently sits on the NYC Bar Housing Court Committee, which focuses on landlord-tenant law, the structure and function of the New York City Housing Court, as well as issues concerning both attorneys and pro-se litigants. Caitríona is also a proud member and officer of the Brehon Law Society of New York City and has previously interned in Belfast on issues related to ‘the Troubles’, legacy litigation, and the Good Friday Agreement.
