Caitríona Fox is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz (Sociology, French, 2016) and completed a dual degree to obtain her J.D. and Master’s in International Affairs through CUNY School of Law and CCNY. She is admitted to the bar in New York. Prior to attending law school, Caitríona spent four years as a legal assistant helping survivors and families affected by the September 11, 2001 attacks pursue compensation through the Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) claims process.
At CUNY Law, Caitríona served as a Director of the Irish Law Students Association and was a Public Interest Law Association Grant Recipient. Since her admission to the New York Bar, she has dedicated her legal career to protecting housing rights throughout New York City. Before joining Himmelstein Gribben & Joseph LLP, Caitríona spent several years representing tenants at CAMBA Legal Services, where she focused on public tenant defense and housing-related matters.
Caitríona currently serves on the New York City Bar Housing Court Committee, which focuses on landlord-tenant law, the structure and function of New York City Housing Court, and issues affecting both attorneys and self-represented litigants. She is also a proud member and officer of the Brehon Law Society of New York City and was honored as the organization’s Lawyer of the Year in 2026.
In addition, Caitríona previously interned in Belfast, where she worked on issues related to the Troubles, legacy litigation, and the Good Friday Agreement. Her background reflects a longstanding commitment to advocacy, public service, and advancing the rights of individuals and communities.
